Our Cellar Door, located just outside Beechworth at the foot of the Victorian Alps, overlooks the vineyard and rolling hills of North East Victoria.
Open 11am to 5pm Friday to Monday and any other day by appointment, visitors can enjoy personalised tastings of current vintages. Cheese and charcuterie can also be purchased to enjoy with a glass of wine. The tasting fee of $15 per person is waived on the purchase of one bottle per person.
Star Lane is a Beechworth wine experience that will instil in you a feeling of joy, and a lasting connection to its natural setting that you will want to return to time and again.

Well are dog friendly. Well behaved pooches on a lead are welcome.
Groups of up to 8 guests are welcome by appointment.
As we are a small winery, we are unable to host hen's or buck's celebrations.
Estate-Grown Varieties
Star Lane is blessed with a striking natural setting, a healthy ecosystem alive with native birds, insects and wildlife. We cultivate a selection of classic and emerging varieties suited to the Beechworth terroir, including:
• Chardonnay
• Pinot Gris
• Shiraz
• Merlot
• Nebbiolo (coming in 2027)
• Sangiovese (coming in 2027)
• Roussanne (currently maturing in our nursery for future release)
Each variety is carefully matched to site and soil to ensure optimal expression and balance. When exceptional fruit is grown, winemaking becomes an act of stewardship.
